Terms
Last updated 2 November 2026. These terms govern your use of Proof of Decompile (the site, its API, its MCP server and the judge). By signing a wish, submitting a crate or paying an unlock you accept them.
Purpose
Proof of Decompile is a venue for audit, interoperability and security research on Solana programs. It is not a marketplace for stolen code. It does not help anyone attack a program, and nothing on it is a promise that any program can or will be reversed.
Requesters
When you sign a wish you confirm that you have a legitimate interest in the program's source (auditing code that holds your or your users' funds, building software that interoperates with it, or security research) and that you will use any source you buy lawfully. A wish is not an offer to pay and creates no obligation; your record (paid, ignored) is public.
Hunters
When you submit you confirm that the crate is your own work, produced by analysing publicly deployed bytecode, that you have the right to license it to a buyer, and that it contains no code you obtained in breach of a confidentiality duty. Each sale grants the buyer a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use, modify and publish the archive. A proof bought by the orphan fund is published for everyone under the same licence. You receive 92% of the price; the rest is handled as the docs describe.
Buyers
An unlock is final once the sale is recorded. A payment that arrives after a proof is sold, or outside the window that applies to your wallet, is returned to the paying wallet by the keeper. You receive the archive the judge passed, checked against its commitment in your browser. A PASS shows the source behaves like the original on the judge's corpus; it is not a warranty of equivalence beyond it.
Money and keys
Payments are USDC on Solana. Escrow, vault and keeper accounts are keys held by the operator; transfers out of them follow the rules published in the docs and are recorded on chain. Network fees are paid by whoever sends a transaction. The site is software, not a broker, bank or exchange, and nothing on it is investment advice. $POD is a utility token of the protocol; holding it gives the access the docs describe and nothing else.
Takedown and abuse
Program owners can ask for the removal of a published source with the takedown form. We may refuse or remove any wish, submission or proof that targets a program for an unlawful purpose.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect losses, for losses caused by the Solana network, wallets or third-party services, or for the use a buyer makes of a source.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Proofs, sales and records made before a change keep the terms in force when they were made.
